believe it. Right now Im sitting here writing this and I
have the pink eye have never had it before but this year
Ive had it 3 times that is because I work in Fieldings Play

My wife and I lived in Wisconsin
for 17 years. We both took early retirement and sold
everything and moved on our sailboat and headed south for
warmer weather.
We crossed Lake Michigan,
went into Canada for three weeks, went down thru Detroit to
Lake Erie. Crossed Erie to New York then took the Erie
Barge Canal to the Hudson River. We took the Hudson south
to New Jersey, went via the ocean around New Jersey, then
cut back to the inter costal waterway. Again still going
south to the Chesapeake Bay then south thru North Carolina,
South Carolina and Georgia. When we to got to Daytona
Beach, FL, we stopped for a few months which turned into
four years. We made several stops on the way staying a few
months up to a year. After living on boats for 10 years, we
bought a house, restocked with furniture, dishes, etc. and
moved back to a house.
We have no desire to move
back so we can shovel snow. Very nice in Florida. I hope
all of you have a great reunion.
We go back to Wisconsin once
a year to visit our son and his family. But our visit time
with our son will not coincide with the reunion dates.

years, I worked with farmers all over the state that were

Indianapolis and also started farming with my dad.
I retired in 1980 after 15
years with Time Life. I farmed full time for 12 years and
at the same was starting my own trucking company part time.
I quit farming in 1992 and spent full time with trucking,
hauling steel strapping from Chicago to Indy and seed for
Callahan and grain for local farmers.
In 1999, I semi-retired and
now haul mostly grain from local farmers. I am working thru

opened a new world --- books.
I was stationed at Fort
